About our Newton Collins Elementary Gifted and Talented Classes
The goal of our Gifted and Talented classes is to create a safe, supportive community where our students can learn and grow.
GT students meet with other students in their same age group each week to explore their interests and work together. Every class begins with a family meeting. Afterward, students work on group and individual projects depending on the semester. All students' projects are guided by their individual interests. In addition, all students have a class job that they complete during class.
Fallyn Holleran, our RTI Math instructor, is our campus GT Coordinator. Amy Gonzalez, our school librarian, is our campus GT teacher.
