You may have heard on the news that the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 15, which is related to virtual learning. Although the Governor signed this bill, it is important to share that the bill contains many eligibility requirements for students wanting to enroll in any public school’s virtual academy.

Del Valle ISD is monitoring the Texas Supreme Court's decision regarding mask mandates in Dallas and Bexar counties. At this time, the Texas Supreme Court decision does not affect Travis County or Del Valle ISD.
On Thursday, August 12, 2021 the Del Valle ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a resolution requiring masks at all district campuses and buildings. Effective Friday, August 13, 2021, all students, staff, and visitors are required to wear a mask when at a DVISD property.
